I have recently raised the guild photos space allocation for all members to around 10MB.  You should now have enough to upload all those nifty photos, screencaps and art.

mag

A spectacular feat for the Outlandish Knights.

Two weeks in a row we have pulled together our forces and took down the beast known as Mag! Though this may not seem to be the most glorious of feats, it is a very positive step forward in progression for our guild. I want to personaly thank all those who have put forth the effort to bring us this far. I would also like to encourage everyone to keep up the great team work as we begin to move forward into more new and exciting content.

Grats OK .

Blizzard Authenticator

Blizzard Authenticator

Blizzard has just placed these for sales for US customers (world coming soon, hopefully). They use the same type of hardware-key passphrase technology required of military contractors and other high-security firms to prevent would-be hackers.

They cost $6.50 each + tax, and though many will feel they should be free, I'll be placing my order for three.

From the Blizzard website:

Protect your World of Warcraft account with industry leading account security - introducing the Blizzard Authenticator! The Blizzard Authenticator is designed as a supplemental authentication method for your World of Warcraft account, giving you the security of Two-Factor authentication. Each time you log in using the Blizzard Authenticator you are provided with a unique, one-time use password to use in addition to your regular password. Log in with both and you can rest easy knowing that your account is now even more secure from malicious attacks such as keyloggers and trojans.

  • Simple and easy to use – press one button to display the digital code. Setup of the token is simple and takes only a few minutes.
  • Small and convenient – take your token to wherever you play World of Warcraft and know that your account is secure.
  • Tough and durable – lasts for years and replacement is easy.
  • Provides for the highest account security available in the game industry today.

Once you have purchased the Blizzard Authenticator you can login to World of Warcraft Account Management to associate the token to your account.

Guild Roster Updates
Written by Spudley

Maintaining your Guild Roster profile starts with the installation of a mod which catalogs all of your toons information.  This mod, Character Profiler, is automated and collects information about your toons as you play. For mod installation help, visit the Mod Installation FAQ in the forums.  An optional mod, PvPLog,  may also be installed which tracks your PvP wins and losses and aggregates the information with the guilds PvP statistics in the roster.

After you have logged out of World of Warcraft, you can then update your profile with the data collected by character profiler and pvplog.  To update your profile, follow these simple instructions.

  1. Visit the roster site in your web browser.
  2. Click the 'Update Profile' button.
  3. Click the 'Browse' button beside characterprofiler.lua, navigate to the file and open it.
    1. characterprofiler.lua is normally located in "C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\**Your Account Name**\SavedVariables\"
    2. If you did not install to the standard location as above, simply navigate to where you installed World of Warcraft and enter the "WTF\Account\**Your Account Name**\SavedVariables\" folder.
    3. You may hover your mouse over the blue '?' marks for help.
  4. If you installed the optional PvPLog mod, repeat step 3 with the pvplog.lua file.
  5. You do NOT need a password.  Skip it.
  6. Click the 'Upload' button at the bottom and wait while the file is parsed.
  7. Check the log results for errors and correct any as needed.
If you have any problems, errors or simply need more assistance with this, contact any Imperator or me for help.
